My Story

I have been working in the field of mental health since 2014, supporting clients across diverse settings, including public health, hospitals, schools, community organisations, and private practice.

My experience spans working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and groups, bringing a compassionate and integrative approach to therapy.

Trained as a Specialist Wellness Counsellor in South Africa, I have experience helping clients navigate anxiety, burnout, stress, sleep difficulties, and substance use challenges. I am deeply committed to working with marginalised communities, providing affirming and inclusive support for LGBTQIA+ individuals and neurodivergent clients.

Since moving to Singapore, I have continued to develop my practice, supporting individuals and families with relationship dynamics, attachment challenges, and identity development. Drawing on my systemic training, I work closely with family units and provide parental guidance, grounded in the philosophy of good enough parenting.

Beyond individual work, I have a strong passion for group therapy, facilitating both social skills training and art therapy process groups. I value the unique growth and connection that these spaces offer to clients.

My therapeutic approach is eclectic and tailored to each client’s needs, incorporating modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Art Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Imago Relationship Therapy, Transactional Analysis, Sandplay Therapy, and Wellness Counselling.

As a proud South African, I value family, friendships, culture, and diversity. I believe in the power of authenticity—and that therapy, much like life, is best approached with a little humour along the way.
